To plan your trip, please consider this schedule.
Friday: For those coming for Shabbat: Registration will be open, and shuttles will run all day until 5PM, when our Shabbat programming will begin. Keep in mind that it will be at least an hour from either airport or by car and may be more depending on the time you come in.
Saturday: There will be no shuttles on Shabbat. If you have purchased an early arrival, the university staff will be able to check you in at anytime between Friday at 5PM and Sunday at 8AM. You can come to check into the conference at Sunday’s registration.
Sunday: Registration will open at 8AM and will be open all day. Intensives start at 9:00AM. The first session of the conference starts at 2:00PM.
Monday and Tuesday: Classes begin at 9:00AM and end at 5:00PM. Evening programming ends at 10:30PM.
Wednesday: Classes begin at 8:45AM and the conference will end at 2PM. Again, remember the distance to the airports when booking travel. You can check out in the conference office at any time on Wednesday.
Thursday: If you purchased a late departure, you will check out with the university staff. Checkout is at 1:00 PM. Please note that the last meal served on campus will be lunch on Wednesday. Shuttles will run until 3 PM.
Airports
San Diego International Airport is about a 25-30 minute drive to UCSD. If you are coming in on Friday and/or leaving on Wednesday, please know that weekday travel is heavier and can take longer, so give yourself plenty of time.
Shabbat services will begin at approximately 6:00pm.
Sunday classes will start at 2:00pm.
Shuttles

You can buy a seat on NewCAJE shuttles from either one of the airports to the conference and back. We will try to accommodate as many participants on shuttles as possible and coordinate participants arriving at similar times to travel together to the conference. Shuttles are $30 each way.

Parking is available at UCSD for $8.00 a day. You can purchase a parking pass on your conference registration. The pass will be emailed to you before your arrival at the conference to be printed and displayed on your dashboard. You may also pay for parking when you arrive at the lot.
